We got moved into our 3BR place but have yet to really settle in. Most of our stuff is still in the garage because Shawn hurt his back moving, and I've had too much else going on to go get any of it. I really need to though. I mean, our beds are still on the floor...um, yea...anyway.
Our eBay store is now open! At Once Upon These Days we'll be selling modern and vintage toys, Legos and more. Please stop by, we can use all the traffic we can get! I have a ton of stuff to clean, photograph and get listed, so stop by often.
We've decided to go a few extra semesters with Ashley's school so that we can complete some more courses required for universities. For her 12th grade language arts credit we found a super cool course called Movies As Literature, which when complete will give her an AP credit. She'll also be doing Writing Strands 5 & 6 for an elective credit. Additionally, we're shopping for a Latin curriculum that will give her 2 foreign language credits.
Aspen is now working in Get Ready For The Code, a prereading course that goes with the Explode the Code reading program. For math we found a super cute addition card game that she enjoys playing, and we'll be adding unit studies in science and other subjects as her Kindergarten curriculum. She turned 5 on March 17, and I just can't get over how the time has flown by!

Little Abby is four days shy of 8 months today. That sounds like a long time when you say it, but it feels like it's gone by in the blink of an eye. She is talking, standing and trying to walk. She shows a definite preference for regular food over baby food, and sticks to me like glue. She'll go to Ashley and Shawn for a while, but gets upset if Mommy is away from her too long.
We love being back in our favorite part of town! We've enjoyed the library, train museum, consignment store and much more since moving back. Aspen is delighted to have a playground right behind our building and tons of kids in the neighborhood to play with. Shawn's job is settling down now, and he's slowing getting the place under control and back up to his standards.
My parents are visiting this week, and I've been really enjoying their company. My mom would like to move here, and we're hoping to convince my Dad. I've been helping my Mom get her new book Soul Sprouts, a delightful collection of children's prayers and her art to go along with them. Please stop by and check it out!
That's about it for now.
