The New LG DoublePlay, check it out!

I'm still looking for a phone. I don't text that much, or use Facebook or Twitter too often, but when I do I use my laptop. I'd much prefer to be more portable. And, I need a phone for all the usual reasons, mostly for emergency use of convenience when I'm out and about with the little girls.

T-Mobile just came out with a new exclusive phone, the LG DoublePlay™. It's pretty cool, I have to admit. it's the first phone I've seen to have dual customizable screens. You can use them in tandem or separately which allows for easy multi-tasking. A full QWERTY keyboard slides out and there's also the cool new Swype feature.

My favorite feature is the built in 5 megapixel camera and 720p HD video camera built right in. That's higher quality that my first digital camera was, and higher quality than the camcorder I currently use. How hand would it be to have that all right on my phone? I might actually be able to keep up my blog! Snap cute pics/videos of the kids, upload 'em right to Facebook and embed them in a blog post, zip zam zoom. All while the kits scamper and cavort at the local park. Sounds like mommy blogger heaven, doesn't it?

As for keeping in touch with family and friends, and mostly my older kids, there are cool text/group chat features like Cloud Text and Group Text that enable chatting or texting with PCs or tablets and allowing for group chats with people using a variety of devices. I can see it now I'm at the park with the kids and I can text hubby on his phone, the older girls on their laptops or phones and arrange dinner out. How cool is that? I'm getting spoiled to the whole instant gratification thing devices like this offer, I must admits.

I don't use social networks or blog as much as I'd like to because it's just too time consuming to take pics/videos, come home, download them, then upload again, then write a post on my blog and embed them, plus write about it. But I'm thinking this new LG DoublePlay™ might just breathe some new life into my online social life.
